“505” — Arctic Monkeys. 

They’re playing this song at the café where I’ve been parked for the last four hours. To me it is a quintessential UK song of this era. I put it on whenever I want something intensely emotional and oh-so British. The vocalist actually sounds like a Brit, unlike the Rolling Stones, who always managed to sound like they were from the Great American West. It’s also a great example of dynamics. I learned how to play every guitar and bass part for the entire song. There are surprisingly view variations. Crank up the amps, hit a few more drums and you’ve got a song that builds and goes someplace.
